I can't talk about Morning Dew Photography without talking about the man who put my first camera in my hands: my dad. Scott Goldberg was an avid photographer himself, instilling in me the qualities that enable one to pursue this career: grit, passion, and artistry. He photographed under the name A.M. Dew Photos, and this name is my way of carrying that piece of him forward.
My dad passed away in March 2025, leaving behind his legacy, thousands of photographs, and a daughter who wants to be just like him. He's the one who taught me to embody the values I hold close to my heart, both as a photographer and as a human. My dad believed life was about having as much fun as possible, holding on tight to the ones you love, and cherishing moments no matter how quickly they pass by. Every time I pick up my camera, I'm honoring the person he was and the bond we shared through the art of photography. I'm reminded of how deeply personal this work can be and how sacred it is to tell your stories.
The people I work with usually care less about perfection and more about remembering their day exactly how they felt it happen. When I first became a wedding photographer, I was most drawn to the way human connection falls at the center of the celebration. I set out to create not just beautiful images, but also a wedding experience that puts heart, community, feeling, and joy before simply aesthetics.
That is still how I approach this work.
I am going to be myself, and I ask that you are too. Bring your whole personalities to the experience, and we will create something unique together. I’m not here to direct or control what’s happening, tell anybody how to emote, or push my own shot list onto you. My work is about paying attention, reading the room, and giving you just enough guidance so you can settle in and actually be present. You get to exist in your day, and I’ll take care of preserving it.
When your community is a huge part of your love story and your world, they deserve to be part of how your wedding day is remembered. I’m just as focused on them as I am on you, because your gallery should feel like a reflection of the full experience, including how your guests experienced the day.
